Disneyland Park - Main Street e Space Mountain

Depois de um período sem postar por motivos de força maior, hoje vou contar um pouco mais sobre o Disneyland Park de Paris.

Como já falei em posts anteriores, este parque é o equivalente ao Magic Kingdom de Orlando, portanto as comparações são inevitáveis.

Já na entrada podemos ver muitas semelhanças e aqui vão fotos para mostrar:

Logo que passamos do portão de entrada, somos direcionados a um caminho arborizado muito charmoso, quase um jardim.

O caminhozinho - tá, isso é diferente do Magic Kingdom.

 Mas depois tudo fica bem parecido:

Aqui já é a entrada da estação de trem, como na Flórida.

 O parque está comemorando 20 anos!

E aí, já na pracinha antes da Main Street, fiz um vídeo:

Igual, né? Com a diferença que deste ponto ainda não dá pra ver o castelo da Bela Adormecida, que é bem menor do que o da Cinderella em Orlando.

Se eu puder dar uma dica é essa: chegue cedo!

Parece óbvio e eu mesma sempre soube disso, mas nunca tinha conseguido chegar em um parque antes que ele abrisse. Dessa vez eu consegui e foi muito bom!

Pelas fotos dá pra ver como ainda estava vazio e depois de registrar toda a entrada de todos os ângulos possíveis, corri pra Discoveryland, que é o espaço correspondente à Tomorrowland do primo rico nos Estados Unidos. (E que também fica no meeesmo lugar, à direita de quem está de frente pro castelo)

Meu objetivo era cortar a Space Mountain da lista de coisas a fazer, já imaginando que seria uma das atrações mais concorridas e, cedo assim, eu poderia evitar a fila.

Deu certo:

Cinco minutos de espera! \o/

Eu desconfio que esses 5 minutos é o mínimo que a plaquinha consegue mostrar. Mesmo quando não tem fila nenhuma, eles colocam lá: 5 min.

E a minha avaliação da Space Mountain Mission 2:

Ela é muito mais moderna, emocionante e rápida do que a da Flórida, sem dúvida nenhuma. Fica claro que é uma atração planejada e contruída com a tecnologia atual, diferente de sua amiga do Magic Kindgom, ultrapassada, como falei aqui.

Os carrinhos são diferentes e maiores e as pessoas são distribuidas de dois em dois.

A minha única reclamação é a mesma que eu tive em relação à Rock 'n Roller Coaster do Walt Disney Studios: eles pensam que a minha cabeça é um chocalho! Aliás, pior, um pandeiro! Porque ela sacode pra todos os lados e ainda bate nas laterais do assento! Sério, eu sinto meu cérebro sacudindo.

De novo, não quis repetir porque não queria ficar com dor de cabeça o resto do dia.

Disneyland Park - Main Street and Space Mountain

After some time away from the blog for reasons of "force majeure", today I'm telling you some more about Disneyland Park, in Paris.

As I mentioned in previous posts, this park is the equivalent to Orlando's Magic Kingdom, so the comparisons are inevitable.

Right at the entrance we can notice many similarities and here are some photos so you can see it for yourself:

As soon as you pass the entrance gate, you have to go through a cute little area, filled with trees and resembling a garden.

The cute area - ok, this is different from Magic Kingdom

But after that, everything starts to look very similar:

 The park is celebrating its 20th anniversary!

And then, at the square before Main Street, I shot a video:

Exactly the same, isn't it? Except that from this point you still can't see Sleeping Beauty's Castle, much smaller then Cinderella's in Orlando.

Here's a detail of the first store on the right: at Magic Kingdom, that's the location of Confectionery, that amazing candy store that I showed here:

In Paris, on the same spot, is a photo store. Very disappointing.

But the City Hall looks the same:

If I can give you one advice, this is it: arrive early!

It seems obvious and I myself always knew that, but I've never been able to get to a park before it opened. This time I did and it was great!

You can tell from the pictures how empty it was. And after photographing every part of the entrance from every possible angle, I rushed to Discoveryland, which is the area corresponding to USA's Tomorrowland. (That is also located on the very same spot, on the right hand side of someone facing the castle.)

My goal was to cross off Space Mountain from my "to do list", because I figured it would be one of the most popular attractions and, this early, I would be able to skip the line.

It worked:

Five minute wait! \o/

I suspect that those 5 minutes are the shortest wait the sign can show. So even if there's no line at all, they'll tell you: 5 min. Just in case.

And as for my review of Space Mountain Mission 2:

It's faster, a lot more modern and exciting than its Florida version, no doubt about it. You can clearly tell that this ride was planned and built using the latest technology, unlike its friend in Magic Kingdom, that's become outdated, like I mentioned here.

The rockets are different and bigger, and the guests can ride in pairs.

My only complaint is the same I had regarding Walt Disney Studios' Rock 'n Roller Coaster: they think my head is a rattle! In fact, worse, a tambourine! Because it jerks in every direction and also bangs on the sides of the seat. Seriously, I can feel my brain jolting.

Again, I decided not to ride it twice because I didn't want to have a headache for the rest of the day.
